Funny. I thought some time ago that a mono with a progressive rate shock linkage and torsion springs might be a hit. Actually the new doo skid isn't too much different than what Cat has been offering since 1997. My 1998 ZR had a very progressive shock linkage (the cc model) with the upper rear arm links like the doo. They just calibrate them so much better nowadays. I still love my mono though. Interesting that they dont compare the shock rate and travel to anything Yamaha offers.

I got to ride the demo on Sunday.....it's pretty nice ride but it sure isn't for me as those dials are in the way. The rep wouldn't say how much but he did say it will be a premium. To be honest how many times have I touched the dial on the side of my tunnel on my attak, once to set it up for my liking and that's it. I told the rep this and the only comeback he had is (But this works!!) I didn't say anything. After a revavled mono my opion is that they just caught up. Each to there own.
