How 'bout Simmons?
"Pilot" skis are a SCAM. Their predecessor were illegal copies of Simmons skis (and very very poor copies at that). When doo got taken to court over them, they were ordered to stop production. They changed them *just enough* that they no longer violated Simmons patents and called them "pilot". THEY ARE NOT BETTER -- they are just marketed as better to distract people from knowing the real reason why they changed their skis.

Scam or not, they are about 1/2 the price of simmons??? They def steer easier than simmons so if you like easier than stock steering and a better overall ski than go for it. I put 6.9's on my rtx so I gain some better float off trail. Look better than the stockers imo. I bought the 6.9 bottoms for $90 a piece and you need the rubber stoppers for $12 or so a piece. I even used the yammie handles, had to trim a little bit off the bottom since the yammie loops are wider but no biggie. Most aftermarket skis are better than the stockers although many have gotten the stock skis to perform well. Its a matter of opinion.
