Anyone else watch the new episode of Sledhead 24/7 ? They tested the XTX Nytro, and then they said to stay tuned for the new release of Yamaha's new sled review the Power Surge. They showed it going down a trail, but they had it fuzzed out. Then they showed a silhouette of it, and it looks from the silhoulette to be at least Nytro FX chassis based, but looked maybe wider all the way from front to back. Could it be a 4holer in the Nytro chassis, or a turbo or supercharged model? Gene

Gawd personally I hope not. I do feel the FX chassis has its niche and all. But I would stick with current Apex chassis or derivative with out major changes.

What station is this on? I did a search on Dish Network for it and it doesn't list it on any channel.

See if you can locate what you want here as all the cable and sat TV channels and what they carry can be quite different. Plus you can watch online they say.

I have dish Network also and for me it's on channel 430 or Fox sports Detroit channel. I got to see them test the Nytro XTX on Sled Head 24/7 and on Snowtrax TV now, nothing but good things to say about it for both shows. Bluebyeyou you may be right, I kind of thought that would be a weird name for a Yammi. From the silhouette it just looks wider kind of like the Mach Z 1000 was wider than the regular Rev chassis, but it could be optical illusion from it being all blacked out. I paused it and watched it over quite a few times and it still looks wider to me. I also noticed when they were showing the XTX from the rear left side there happened to be a DBII sled up in front of it that appeared to be an Apex with a taller windshield and it looks like a taller factory riser, but didn't appear to be of the MTN. variety, but really couldn't tell much else. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Gene

If there is a late release of a new model, it would explain why Yamaha has such a weak offering of new sleds this year. I haven't this limited of an offering since the year after the RX-1, when the only new sled was the Warrior. Maybe we have been spoiled.
