New Slider

I just picked up my new Dupont sliders today. I can honestly say that I will not be installing them yet. I just put 461 miles on the original sliders and the overall measurement of the slider depth is 3/4" with the small section behind the marginal wheel and first idler wheel is 11/16". Like I just said I installed the marginal wheel kit in the front and the snow conditions were really good last week. I have three more trips planned and I hope to have nearly 1,600 miles this year.

My slides haven't worn at all this year... but thats because my sled hasn't moved.

Do they have much snow and will it last?

I've got three more trips in the works going right now.

Yes they have snow and it should last a while. Good news is that it doesn't get crowded the way UP does.

Is it a lot of lake riding or are the land trails also good?

all land trails where groomed and was good except KaB has 3 ice heaves.

It's a lot of lake riding but land trails too. The lakes are staked and usually smooth... Usually heaves are marked if you are following the stakes.
