Looks like great day! What lake?We had a good day on the lake. The ice was soft(temp was 4c today) and there was 3-4 inches of wet snow on the ice.
My srx is bone stock and we got 115mph in 1/4 mile. Muskoka sidewinder has a video of some runs including my 115mph. I'll also post all the speeds of the sleds today.
All runs were 1/4 mile on a radar gun for the doubters!
Bone stock;
2019 sidewinder srx 115mph 8750rpm
2019 sidewinder ltx-le 107mph 8500rpm
2018 skidoo blizzard 850 98mph idk rpm's
Boosted;
2019 sidewinder srx hurricane 290hp 123mph 8800rpm
2019 sidewinder srx hurricane 290hp 122mph 8800rpm
2019 sidewinder srx turbo dynamics 260hp 119mph 8400rpm(weight were for 330 kit)
2018 sidewinder rtx turbo dynamics 330hp 123mph 8900rpm
2016 zr9000 turbo dynamics 270hp 113mph idk rpm's
2103 zr9000 turbo dynamics 300hp 121mph idk rpm's
Everyone had a good time and we're looking forward to good clean ice!
Also wondering how many studs you're running in SRX, and how long. 1" track seems to be working well!
Hi Dan Both Kuvasz and I are running 96 studs same pattern as Ben did for me last year it works so I figured why change,I was running Stock muffler and still need to put in fuel regulator and gearing will get that done this week then it's back to the 140s hoping to have the gang out again next Sat weather permitting.

Good speeds for stock SRX in 1320' with just 96 1.325's for sure. Not a ton of traction which is needed for 1/4 mile. Bet those tuned sleds are all running alot more then 96 eh? SRX will be top speed king with ease for stock sleds this yr, and likely yrs to come. Wonder if '19 Tcat is as fast, as it probably has 24/50 cat gearing.No just 96 triggers unsharpened
Dan
Just a sidenote that 119 MPH was with Stock muffler and running Max 16We had a good day on the lake. The ice was soft(temp was 4c today) and there was 3-4 inches of wet snow on the ice.

The srx is the fastest stock sled ever made.
But I saw that last magic pass on the live video and the first thing I thought was a fluke on the gun. Those Bushnell guns are not the best. But I could be wrong.
As for the other numbers they looked legit.
1st note... Tom's sled had max spool 16sm stock muffler with the wrong weights ...
Still ran 119mph pretty good for a last minute deal at 8400rpm.
Cory who had the race map on was geared for 660 and Totally maxed out his gears within a short distance. Definately he was not even close to having the right setup for the speed test.
Also they had another radar at 500 feet. Cory took that with TD race tune being shorter geared. 107mph

It takes more to go from 115 to 123 than it does to go from 108 to 115.Amazing to me that all boost only results in 8mph more. Thanks for sharing.
See n Blue, you can't measure in sled lengths these turbos compared to 850's. I use a better indicator - bus lengths or hydro pole lengths!Bet their speedo was showing way more then 98mph. Ran a guy out here that was bragging about running. 126mph, I had him by so much it was hard to judge the sled lengths. Quick sleds but no match for a boosted winder

at what point is it needed to have a fuel regulator ? I have run max 20 with the upgraded fuel pump with no issues , just wondering when is it needed to run a fuel regulator ?Hi Dan Both Kuvasz and I are running 96 studs same pattern as Ben did for me last year it works so I figured why change,I was running Stock muffler and still need to put in fuel regulator and gearing will get that done this week then it's back to the 140s hoping to have the gang out again next Sat weather permitting.

Ben is right. When we first got to the lake Cory and the guys were running 500ft. We ran my srx though the gun at 92mph, king's ltx le at 90mph and the blizzard 850 at 80mph.The srx is the fastest stock sled ever made.

Cory had the same gears as the srx 21/41.
The numbers on the srx were 112 and 113mph just before we got the 115 so I feel the numbers are legit. Next time I'll take my phone gps.

I am not a Ski Doo guy but I do currently own a Renegade 850. I would be on a Sidewinder right now if it were not for the deal that I could not pass up on for this 850. All that aside, I still consider myself a Yamaha guy and will gladly be back on one if I find the right deal on a Sidewinder when it is time to trade. I must say that I am not embarrassed by my Renegade 850 as it is a blast to ride and I do not have the un reasonable expectation that it will compete with a 204hp stock Sidewinder. Yamaha will always be my #1 choice all things considered but I am not going to put out the ludicrous money a current model year Sidewinder demands but certainly would be on one right now if I had found a similar deal. My hope is 2020 brings us a 2S 850 to compete with the Doo and Poo. I will agree with you on the "Go Yamaha" comment!98 for a doo 850 compared to 115 for a 'heavy' stock sidewinder srx??? Admit it doo guys, that's just embarrassing! SRX is Back!
Go Yamaha !!!
