Have a Bender stage 2 and on high makes same as low boost. I started off with 6&10 and up high would only make 6&8 and now only 6 any setting. Have checked for all air leaks cant find any. Have also checked for cloged vent line to boost switch none. Called MPI they said to try no line to waste gate did that still only 6. Could the waste gate not be close off at no boost?

had that problem and found it was the carb boots not tight enough. They need to be real tight. Hey do you change your vent tube jet when you switch to high boost, see previous thread..
Not from lowe to high but most rides need a change to get full HP.

You could be running to rich. Too rich = low boost. It is also possible that something is a miss with wastegate. MPI is brave telling you to run with wastegate disconnected. I hope you are running good fuel.

Looks like he found the problem but I just wanted to mention for future reference that clutching can affect boost as well. You need to load the motor to get the boost way up.
