took my 06 apex out for a ride today and had the speedometer go out. it was working then a few minutes later no speedo and error codes 42 and 84. have not heard of too many people have speed sensor issues. do they just go bad?

check the bearing on the drive shaft at the speedo pickup could be bad.

X3, I will bet that your driveshaft bearing is shot and the toothed "gear" on the end of the driveshaft had come into contact with the speedo pick up sensor.
