Please pardon my next nob question

What do you guys store in what little room there is in the nose? Does it get too hot or do I have to worry about anything in there.

(not sure what is in the cone)

I am just getting my pack ready and I also bought a snobungee and tow strap today.

Yamaha sells a nice bag that fits right in there & straps in. I put a tow rope, jumper cables, & siphon hose in there.

I will check it out. What is the unit in there with the wires? I just opened it up in the dark and couldn't tell what it is.

I have the jumpers , I don't think it is hot there. The Yamaha bag fits well. I like it. Yamadoo

Cant remember what its called but my dealer told me they recommend moving the ground wire to the bottom screw . If you have a newer sled its got something to do with your power steering and the bag don't fit well I hear. I just put jumpers and tow rope in mine . ;)!

Some good info in this link Paraclete, especially Yamahamainer's link in his post.

That post is spot on. The "unit" in the nose is a voltage regulator. If un-plugged, you will drain your battery very quickly & the sled will die. I KNOW FROM EVPERIENCE! You tilt the unit & everything's alright. I don't know about the new sleds...

I have exactly the same stuff in mine. Nice trail side emergency bag to have.
