Nothing new for 2013? AC for me!

If I was in the market for a new sled it would be the Polaris Pro RMK. I was very impressed by them last year.
 
I tried an assault out in 09, the 800 CFI finished me off for buying another 800 polaris any time soon. Also bought the wife a 600 rush in 2010 another big polaris mistake there. Plagued with electrical problems, and crap suspension, DET light and over heating.
 
We'll see but if not then I see cat stealing marketshare from the other 3. Trust me im not pro cat if anything im a doo guy, but cat built something good enough for me to jump. If its a pos i have the luxury of dumping it mid season.
 
Cat fit and finish is definately not the same as yamaha. On my crossfire it seems like it takes 10 times as long to put panels back on after removing them because nothing lines up right without struggling. But then when people start to mod a yamaha fit and finish doesnt matter one bit as most everything gets moved anyways!

The first year Rush was definetly over hyped. When one of the teams was practicing on the '10 Rush for the Iron Dog they wanted to junk the rear skid and install a convential tunnel and rear suspension as they kept breaking the Rush skid. Polaris said no so they had a local welding shop completely rebuild and reinforce the skid to get it to hold up. These modifications were incorporated into the '11 model. I was told the '11 was much improved durability wise and I watched Pro-R's win in our statewide XC series and the Pro-R also won last years Iron Dog.

The Pro-R is a really nice sled and while the rear skid isn't as good as Polaris advertises, the entire sled rides and handles way better than a Nytro and can go through the bumps much faster. But, I agree that the rest of the sled is not up to Yamaha's standards of reliabilty and durability.
