Have 08 nytro getting lean readings on Air/Fuel gauge. Dobeck fuel controller as high as it will go now for all fuel settings. 15.5 to 18 when idling. Able to get cruise and acceleration down to 12's but wide open throttle is creeping up to 14.7 after holding it for 3 seconds.Has stock fuel pump checked fuel pump psi and correct.I am under the understanding that stock fuel system should be good to 10 psi? I've added head shim but have boost set down at 8-9 pounds boost To try to get it to richen up. Any tips suggestions?

How close is the o2 sensor to the end of the exhaust? If it's to close, you will get false readings. Also, how does it run? Any popping or backfiring?

4 " from end of downpipe no muffler. Has slight hesitaion /pop at slight throttle openings.

add more fuel...the controller has a mode setting on it...just add more fuel...hit the mode button, then the first setting is from 0-5% so if your lean on low, just click it up a notch or two...the last setting (I am color blindc but involves the blue...is your boost fuel)

just try adjusting those, and you should be good...

I have the controller set up to give maximum fuel at every throttle position cannnot turn it up any higher . aaarrrggghhh.
I think my only option would be to fix wastegate fully open to continulesly dump boost and stock fuel system will take over. Can't think of many other options or my sled trip is cancelled. Hope this works.

I am willing to bet that your throttle bodies have come loose and you have a gap in them...

I have had this happen twice...

I had the same thing happen. One throttle body pulled off the intercooler and I was running like crap and really lean. Good luck hunting and hope your head gasket is still holding.

Yeah, I am trying an experiement ifor the next few days, running just some 2" coolant pipe (single stitch reinforced) pipes from the intercooler to the throttle bodies, this will allow the pipe to stretch more than the blue silicone pipe...

Additionally, when Ivut the pipe, I was anal about cutting precisely the EXACT same length, and this repositioned the intercooler enough, I had to make new holes in the bracket...

general principle, the engine flexes, and the intercooler does not...so it causes stress on the pipes and if they cant flex (3 strand braided silicone)they pull away, regardless of how tight the clamps are...
