AWESOME!!! I just wanted to say thanks for all who attended. I enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you. I feel like I have 17 new friends. If you missed the trip, you missed out big time. I will not steal RXONE's thunder as he will give a blow by blow account of the ride, but it was the best time of my life. You guys are great. If any of you ever come to New England, please call me and we will ride. I can't wait until the NY TY ride next year. A special thanks to Big Black Warrior for showing us the trials. One quick note, on our second day we were greeted with 18" of powder. I was just perfect. I hopw everone stays in touch. You are a great bunch of guys. Have a great day, Dana.

Hey Boston. Take a look at my reply to your wheel post. 44" in Parish and it's still snowing at 4" an hour (as of last night anyway). I'm heading back tomorrow.

Boston, I agree it was great getting to meet everyone. Sorry I missed out on Thursdays ride. I can't wait till the next ride. Hopefully by then I'll get my plug situation figured out. Until then I think I'll change my name to Sparky or maybe Sparkless would be better. LOL.

Boomer, great to meet you as well. My wheels disintegrated 4 hours into the Thursday's ride so I was done. I had heard that another guys suspension cracked at the welds and he was stranded. They received 48+inches of snow Thursday night so we missed timed our trip by one day. We rode is 18" of powder on Thursday, that was awesome. We will do it again. I really don't want to wait unitl next year though. keep in touch. Dana

Boston RX1, my relay rods both broke off. I wouldn't say that I was stranded as it was right near the road by a gas station. I'm glad it didn't happen the day before when we were out in no man's land near Stillwater :!: THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BEING STRANDED FOR SURE  All in all I had a great time, even though it was cut short by 50 miles. Sled is already fixed and I'm riding from my house next Wednesday for four days. May go all the way to Lake Placid :D
Boomer, hope you are able to stay on with Kodak. Then you can get a four stroke and your plug problem is gone

Boston- I was there Wed with the other black Warrior,I parked next to Big Black Warrior, just to put a name to a sled.I rode 95 miles today (fri) around Cranberry lake on mostly all groomed trails :D (yes there are some in N.Y.) and LOST my right front wheel off the susp after about 50 miles.Got off and looked around to check sled over and it was gone! All that was left was the bearing and the bolt. The ride wed wouldn`t have put a hurting on it :?: NNaaaaahhhh.I`ve been checking the sled here and there ever since I melted the glacier out from under the tunnel. The W arm shows some stress cracks in the paint around all the welds, but nothing broken.Just sliders and carbides a little worn  --especially on the left side :!: Glad to hear everybody was able to get home one way or another.

We had a blast...but just one question...where'd everyone go Wed. evening? We were in Constableville (five of us), and then went back to Montague...and no one was there. Sounds like everyone made it back alive, so that's a good thing.
I have a picture of the 'incident'......
pretty far away, and you can't make out what happened...
Or should I have not mentioned that??? 8)
Randy (my 'guest' MachZ rider on the black one) had to leave for work at 5:30 am Thurs...so after 4 hours driving back in the snow, my truck quits about 10 miles from home.
Fortunately, it kept running, and then cleared up..we suspect a frozen fuel line.
Guess I need an RX1 truck engine....lol. The sleds were absolutely perfect all day, and I didn't hit anyone too hard (bumped Randy on the trail after the River Valley Inn passing on a corner), and kept the rubber side down all day. Excellent ride, guys. Thanks RXOne for getting it together, and everyone for being great sports.
Best part, we didn't have to listen to any 'Cat smack' talk... :D

Hi Guys!

Hi Guys thanks for coming we all enjoyed your company! Sump!!!! We were all at Montague Inn til after 10 o'clock! We'll do it again next year for sure! And like BostonRX1 said; I made 17 new friends and they were all Yamaha Riders. Man it does'nt get any better than that.  SumpBuster! e-mail me at ann.johnson50@verizon.net so I can get your real name # and e-mail address. Have Randy get in touch with me too. Thanks again for coming.

I want to thank everyone who was at the NY TY ride. It was sure great to meet all the fellow Yamaha riders. Maybe by next year I will get rid of my Polaris Leathers and buy some Yamaha ones. I think I got the best part of the deal by getting to lead everyone. I wasn't in any snowdust and got to set the pace I like best. Hope I didn't upset too many with my pace.. Thanks to Monker for leading us from Little John down to Redfield through the fresh 2' of snow.(moral of this is, if you buy the ECP filters from Freddie and you want to ride in 2 feet of powder you better buy the pre filters). Got home at 9:00 PM, cleared two feet of snow out of my driveway by 11:00 PM, then got up this morning to do some more riding, and just got back from putting another 200 miles on the Warrior today. Hope to see everyone again next year, and hopefully a few new poeple.

BBW

Hey BBW. Maybe we could take up a collection so you can get new Yamaha leathers huh? And while we're at it we could make enough to get Sumpbuster a Yamaha jacket too. That Ski-Doo jacket has got to go!

I did have Yamaha gloves on... :D
That Klim stuff looks pretty good, too.

That's what makes it fun...did you get my e mail? I seem to have a lot of computer problems...must be that 'made in Thief River Falls' sticker on the box...lol.
And I know why your windshield says Mr. Clean.
Knew it when you took off your hat... :D
At least the Yamaha guys have a sense of humor...

I had heard that someone in our group had an M10. Does anyone know who had it and what his email address is. I have some questions for him.
