I was up North this weekend riding and almost ran the nytro out of gas but was lucky enough to make it to a gas station in time. I rode with the fuel light on for about 20 km, I ride with a bunch of bombers and they all had like just under 3/4 of a tank left when I was pretty much bone try, I fill my sled up with just regular and they fill theres with premium which is way more money and there still like $7 cheaper to fill up then me, I was shocked how good those 800 etecs were on fuel.. Anyway yesterday I filled my sled up right to the brim before we left to cabin and I rode 60km before my fuel gauge dropped one bar but from there on out it was dropping a bar like every 10 - 15 km, by the time we made it back to the cabin we had run 96 km and I was reading half a tank. Has anyone else noticed that with there sled that it reads full for so long then the bars just start disappearing like crazy? I usually try and pull that white sleeve out of the tank when I am filling to squeeze a little extra gas in there, but i'm not sure if it just ends up running out of the vent tube/over flow tube, where did you guys run your overflows to prevent gas from running out of them when trying to squeeze as much gas as possible. I thought about buying a trail tank but for the $350 its going to cost me I don't know if it's worth it?
