HEY i was just wanting an opinion on what to get. either a 2009 or newer nytro 153". Or a 2009-10 rev xp summit 800 146". The good the bad, any feedback would help. thanks

Im a flatlander but I went with the resale after much debate this spring when I bought mine. I was looking at the new etech or the XTX. I love my Yamaha and dare to be different.

i went with the Nytro MTX 153 because the skidoo dealer was ignorant to me in the past and I refuse to give him money...

because I wanted a 4 stroker,

and because I wanted to be unique. (I'm already different...LOL)

As for satisfaction with my choice, I am very satisfied. I love the 4 stroke, love the looks of it, and I love the attention it brings me.

Oh and its a little heavier to throw around but that just means you can do like me and tell your buddies "only real men drive Yamaha" LOL....

Had a Nytro MTX last year but bought a brand new summit 154 this year. I will try it for a year and see how I like it. If I have any engine troubles I will be back on blue.

On a brand specific site like this you are not going to get too many objective answers, but I will give it a try. I think there is no doubt about which chassis is the better mountain chassis, from a pure weight on the scales point of view as well as a true maneuverability point of view. Unfortunately, this chassis is delivered with one of the worst reputation engines ever built, according to some people no better than carrying a time bomb on your ride. I would really like one, but this reputation is stopping me from getting one (and I see the new Polaris in exactly the same way). I want a full season of riding. I do not want to stop after half season because the crankshaft is on back order and I do not want to drop it off at the dealer some twenty times to get mapping updates. Because of this I am getting the 2011 FX Nytro MTX, in my case the longer one. If you feel like gambling, get the Doo or the Poo. If it holds up you will be more than satisfied.

I would agree with that. That is pretty much why I came over from Doo.

Yep fellow doo rider as well till the nytro. By far the most fun ive had on a sled ever. Was disapointed at first (08) but after a few mods i wouldnt trade it for anyother brand. Getting a newer one 2010 or 11 all you might have to change is a track. Put a camo extreme on it and have a blast. Want more hp turbo or nitrous.

the 2011 Nytro MTX 162 SE comes with a Camo track as of late... and now can come straight from the dealer with a turbo or SC. They announced that stuff at Haydays.

Hey man dont be stupid now, go for a Yamaha sled!!
