I have a pivoting riser and the exhaust sticks out quite a but on the back and am not sure I am going to have any luck with either one of the covers. Even though my sled sits high on my deck it still gets covered in salt.
The cover WILL fit over your riser, I had 4in riser with the OEM "backcountry" bars on my XTX and it fit, tight but it fit, as far as your turn out....NO WAY, but you do not have to put it on that way. You could just strap it over top and not under the turn out, or have a interior shop modify it to work.

I've had a skinz cover for two seasons and had no issues with fit. However I have trimmed my windshield down some, but have relocated my steering column forward and up and have hand guards. Still has an almost too loose of a fit. I prefer this fit over the much tighter yami fit. The ironic thing is Skinz makes the yami cover also (to yami specs). You can't beat the Skinz lifetime warranty either.

What about the Yammy cover with the bigger front Yammy front bumper. It's not the extended one for the float plate. I just installed the bumper and now can't get the cover to fit. I never tried too to pull too hard over the bumper because of the strain on the windshield. I need the cover and like the bumper.

Thanks for all the responses and opinions.....I ended up going with a stock Yamaha cover and may just have to modify it to work around my pipe turnout.

Just got back from ordering the new yammy cover that fits the accessory bumper.
Anyone want to but a 40th anniversary cover......never used.

Just got my new cover to fit over the bigger bumper. Fits well but don't seem to be a very tough cover. Has a cheap feel to it but the straps and buckles look good. Hopefully will soon get the chance to try it out on the trailer.

I just cut off a plastic water bottle and put it on the turnout before I put the cover on. Else tennis ball works good. Just make sure exhaust is cool before you put it back on.

Are the Yamaha covers suitable for open trailer use?

Going to be trailering a lot more this year as apposed to hauling in the back of my truck and being able to leave my sled near the trail head. No highway use, just 30 minutes to the trails and 30 minutes home 3-4 days a week. Looking at my options.
