OK so I tired the search and not finding an answer (other than to stay away from the GYTR one as it is weak)...
The stock front bumper on my '09 XTX seems designed to only 'protect' the front center 6" of nose, as well as being too small to permit two full grown man sized hands to lift up on the front end.
Would prefer a solution that will work with the Yamaha full skid plate (with the triangular shaped nose that wraps all the way up to the lip of the hood).
Seems like JT's front bumper is good solution to my need (more coverage/protection, ability to place a hand on each end to lift sled, only requires access to stock mount holes so will work with my existing skid plate, etc.) so anyone with experience on this bumper and/or recommendation on something else?

Thanks guys...

CR Racing make a really nice one, very simple looking, but it ain't cheap. Personally I'm going with the Skinz bumpers this year, powder coated black.

Thing looks like you could bounce a moose off of it.
Really like their rear racks and gas racks. Price is very reasonable.
Ha! ... nice
Maybe design inspiration came from the cow catcher on front of a freight train

Fabcraft makes a nice one. I just bought a Timbersled Boonie Bumper.

I've never needed more than my stock front bumper. Anything that sticks out further is going to spray up even more snow when you bottom out in the face of a whoop.

timbersled bumper is great, however i cant justify its cost. love how it ties into shock mounts. looks good too.
Installed - pics to come
Installed the JT bumper last night... great form/finish, looks good (will post pictures soon).
Had to line up perfectly so a second set of hands helped, but I'd rather have an exact fit where holes are same size as bolts so it's not sloppy/loose when tugging weight of this sled by the front bumper.
I recently changed out front end on a friend's XP chassis and I will say that I like Yamaha's design philosophy to have all four front bumper mounts go into threaded holes on the tubular subframe. BRP's engineers allowed the front bumper to be mostly ornamentally in my opinion. Only two smaller bolts holding the back of the bumper (creating a stressed pivot point), and rest of the bumper held to plastic by rivets, that then hold plastic to plastic.
So when you hit something with the XP bumper you are guarenteed to break all kinds of plastic pieces while it quickly transfers the impact energy to the exhaust pipe, that jams itself into the exhaust port of the motor and increase the chances of causing engine, exhaust and body damage all at the same time.

gytr bumper
they have reinforced the gytr bumpers. The one I recieved this fall seems sturdy.
