I bought a 08 Nytro and took it out the first time this week end. On the first little hill a ski hooked the crust and tip up and shot me into the trees. The rest of the day I had to use caution to keep this from happening again and we did swap sleds several times and the doo's weren't doing it. It is bad enough that I didn't feels good with out both hands on the handle bars, ever time I used the side hill crutch I thought I was going to loose the sled and counter steering was next to impossible. Is this caused buy the skis or is there something in the set up. It has timbersled rear suspension with a 155 track and the sway bar is still in other then that it is stock. I have a set of simmons skis I'm going the try. As far as handling easier then an XP I haven't seen it yet.
Also it will hit the rev limiter on the road and in the hills is will turn 82 to 9 on the hills. Is there a set up that will work better the stock?

What elevation are you running the roads?
You will most likely have to add weight to your clutch weight to keep it from hitting the Rev limiter, but it sounds like you are running the right RPMs in the hills.

nytro

I think the road is 7500 to 8000 and in the hills are a little over 9000.
I was thinking more weight but if i do that i will loose rpm in the hills.

Ride it and break it in a bit before changes. Also these are nose heavy will break through crust before the doo's. The throttle is your friend, front ends dives very fast if your not on it.
