glad you got it done.

cut one off with a torch myself carefully and the shaft was good until a rock strike broke it 2 years later.

Before you put the new bearing on the drive shaft, get the plastic cap ,part#8FN-47377-00 and place it on the shaft first. This will help keep the bearing seal from allowing water and dirt to enter. $10 part item.
