My 08 nytro keeps stalling when i hit the throttle. Had this problem on my last ride last season it will only rev to around 5000 rpm then will stall like you hit the kill switch. If you let off the throttle before it dies it will keep running till you get around 5000rpm and do the same thing. If it does stall its hard to start back up unless you let it sit for a few seconds then it starts fine. Last year when it doing this we unloaded it off the trailer to put it in the garage and it seemed to be running fine so we thought maybe something just iced up that was causing it to do this so never though anymore about it. Till yesterday when heading out for the first ride of the season. It seemed to be working fine all though seemed to be idleing a little rough and a little harder to start then usual thought maybe it just needed some fresh gas so went to the gas station topped it up and headed back out and back came the same stalling issue. So im at a loss to what is causing this problem could it be the fuel pump? Or a sensor or something. Im not getting any codes that pop up on the gauge only when you try to start it back up right away after it stalls the check engine light will come on but goes back out as soon as it fires back up. So im at a loss no idea where to start looking to figure this out
Now after putting it in the shop on the stand I am getting codes 33 34 35 (ignition coils) when it stalls. The codes didn't come up when it was cold warmed it up still not able to get it to stall then I let it sit for about half hour as I checked things out. Then tried again and the stalling started again.
any ideas or should I just change out the ignition coils?

Check to make sure your throttle cable is not loose. Noticed mine last year when I was doing the spark plugs and seen the jam nut was loose. Never caused the problem but maybe I got it before it was to loose. It could be causing your TPS to trip. It should be something simple to fix. Search for info on Google you will get better hits then using the search feature on here. That's what I find anyway. Weeds out more of the un-needed post.

On my 08 Nytro I had that problem and chased it awhile and it came down to being the starter solenoid was corroded so bad it was draining the power. $40 for a new one and if its the original one, just change it!

So you were having the exact same problem as i explained? I will check that out tonight.
After doing a few searchs i was leaning towards the tors. But if it was the tors i should be getting a code right?

Bypassed the tors with no luck. Did some searchs and ordered a new crank sensor also ordered new starter relay to fingers crossed that those will fix the issue

Installed new crank sensor and it seems to have fixed the problem on the stand anyways have to wait for the snow to come back before i ll know for sure. Also but on new starter solinod just cause i had it.

Did you change them at the same time or did you replace the crank sensor first and then the relay?

I replaced the crank sensor first then tested it wanted to know what the exact problem was

Rode in owen sound last weekend with no issues. It was the crank sensor that was causing the problem.
