so im installing a mpi supercharger on a guys nytro and he gives it to me in a box(he bought it used) and its got 6 different pullies in it ... i need to know what pullies to run. stock motor with no head shim . whats safe to run and what is stock from mpi on a stag 2 kit thanks
 
My stage 1 is running 29/25, Matt says usually 29/27 on stage 1, So you would think Stage 2 would be speeded up a little faster? I would give MPI a call and talk to Matt to get his recommendation.
 
Ask Matt but from past experience the stage two isn't as efficient until 10lbs+ of boost! which means engine and fuel work. It's like trying to run a large fan at slower rpms. Doesn't create the same volume as a smaller fan at higher rpms. Ulmer is pretty good at explaining this also FYI.
 
My understanding is that it takes to much power to spin it for the amount of power you will get out of it at low boost. I am running mine at 12 psi right now which is below to recommended level of 15 psi but boost hits like a friehgt train.
 
ive got a stage 1 and run 25 29 at 10 pounds on strictly 93 or worse - popped a head gasket last year - we have a 4 guys with these kits - I was the only one that had issues and blamed it on watery gas - since then I sent out the ecu and matt fixed it up - that's the way to go - can run 3 more pounds, now were trying the 31 25 - much better!! matt = we need a detonation senser from the 02 srx. nyto owners - get this done and order pullys and hold on. easy h.p. upgrade. or insurance = changing head gaskets r not fun - don't do the double head gasket, no need with this ecu redo. my buddy did the head gasket upgrade and now it leaks every ride, so he get to do it again. his sled lost bottom end also.

Did you get t together? I am running a 24 top and 29 bottom on a stage 2 and it is giving me 18psi. I want to lower it to around 12psi and was wondring what pulleyicombo to go with.

With the 25 29 combo what rpm are you running for the 10lbs of boost?
