New to this site and very excited to jump into all the information. I used to own a 1998 VMax and then went to Ski Doo for a couple years and now am about to purchase an 08 Nytro. Real quick question - Is the only difference between the FX and RTX the suspension? The sled I am looking at just indcates FX on the graphics but has the FOX air shocks on the front. Does this indcate it is actually an RTX?
Sorry for the stupid question but I just want to make sure I know wha I am getting.

No the owner could of add the Fox shock. The RTX has a hard suspension and are some times gear different. Easy way is to check the VIN number with a dealer.

Plus the RTX has fully adjustable shocks all around, reinforced rails, steering is a little forward with a short bar riser, low winshield and a few other little godies...

The rails are different?

The rails have the same part number. Maybe some extra bracing?

A FX NYTRO SE will have a flat plate on top of the steering post and a block riser and the FX NYTRO RTX will have the welded T post and two hole riser...

Ya, the rails are basically the same with some extra bracing
