Are these the saddle bags yoiu mean?
Edit:
To attach these saddle bags you need SMA-LUGGE-HW-20 and SMA-SNAPS-03-CM.
See http://yamaha-motor.ca/pna/detail.php?s ... =12&page=2
You rivit these on your tunnel. Just make sure your straps are tight from the saddle bags so they dont move. They look a bit goofy but they work excellent and carry alot of stuff.

I havent got an issue with them other than the Cam Buckles ice up when not using them lol. I ride 100% sitting down so they dont get in my way at all. I even use them when I take the wife along and they dont get in her way either. They hold ALOT of stuff and you can jam them full as long as you make sure the straps are tight. I carry everything in them including folding canes to a small socket set to my lunch and extra gloves. THis weekend Ill be carring all that at once lol. (If I am carring alot I usually try to distribute the weight even on each side) Here is an old picture of riding 2up with the saddle bags on. Oh Ya you have to take them off to put a cover on the sled.
