I want to put a 6-8 inch adjustable riser on my Nytro XTX. I bought the rox riser, rsi pivot adaptor, powermadd extended brake line and powermadd throttle extension kit. Is this all I need? I saw someone had an issue with codes on a Apex. Anybody do this without issues?

That is a HUGE riser for an XTX!! Are you keeping the stock bars? or going with strait/flat bars?
I am interested in how you get it to work as I am thinking of going with something a little bigger than my 2", but will have to extend my cables to do so.

the code that you can end up with is the TORS code. can't remember the number but it is caused when a difference in throttle position from throttle body position is detected. happened to me last year when i stretched my stock cable when using a riser. once adjusted correctly (instructions in owners manual) there will be no issue. 6 inch rise is really tall, i'm 6 feet tall and with a 3 inch rise my arms are bent slightly while standing, perfect for me.

I installed a two inch Rox and an OFT relocater. I am 6' tall. Haven't rode it like this yet but seems plenty tall. No issues with cables or lines.

Thanks for the responses! Sounds like 6-8 may be too much, so I'll try the 4-6. I'll also look into the OFT relocater.

I'm keeping the stock bars. I think I'm going to try the 4-6 inch riser instead. After reading the responses I have some more research to do first
