Hey guys i have a 13 xtx. I'm about 220 with all my gear. I have the stock skis. I like to ride trails mostly and enjoy riding the twisties and turns fast and hard.
I also do quit a bit of river and Lake racing with buddies and my last sled the skis came up way to high to control it and always had to hit the brake so I didn't hit someone.
What would you guys recommend for a good suspension setup.
Here's some pics of hoe thr sled is setup now I'm not sure if it's stock settings or if previous owner messed with it

lots of threads and opinions on set-up here, mine stock is.... FRONT spring pre load full soft (jack up sled loosen front shock springs till loose, tighten one turn on collar) start with comp & rebound in the middle and adjust from there. REAR centre shock tighten strap one hole and tighten up pre-load on spring approx. 3/4- 1" preload, rear torsion springs middle position and comp in the middle and go from there. suspension settings are a very personal thing.....don't be afraid to fool around with it and write things down. ask questions here....everyone is very helpful.

cheers

On the front end I'm finding handling is better on the soft side with the shocks. As I ride, I'm also learning what postures & positions help when turning too. Have fun with it!
