I am using straight race fuel at 6/12/17 Lbs on a Bender/Mtn Perf Turbo. I prefer to run straight 111 for the high boost, although I know I could run 50/50 at 12 Lbs and less.
This may cause the following problem: I am under the understanding that O2 sensors do not work with straight Race Fuel. Is that correct?
If it is, I would consider a pyrometer instead. Would this be effective?
Has anyone found a probe that fits in the threaded fitting on the Bender set-up?
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

I HEARD THAT RACE FUEL WILL DAMAGE THE SENSOR (LONG TERM).
I STILL PREFER A AIR/ FUEL SENSOR. I SAW PEOPLE USING RACE
FUEL PART TIME AND VP-C5 OCTANE BOOST (GOOD) AN NO PROBLEMS
YET (3000 MILES) WITH SENSOR...

i have one on my mc xpress rear mount and i run 50/50 works well still rich need to jet down. alot of race cars with high doller engines are running them in edmonton instead of a pryo and that is an straight 114 becides it is a better way to measure the mixture and if long term they are hard on them there cheaper then egt probes. i use one wire off pre 95 gmc truck with c2 auto meter (o2 40.00 and probe 60.00)

The lead in the race fuel will eventually ruin the O2 sensor. It will take quite a while though. I prefer the O2 sensor.

HYERUP, What did you do to get 17lbs of boost out of the bender turbo?
I put my Pyro right after the Turbo. I have a digital Pyro/boost guage from Bully Dog, single probe.

RX-1 Moose: Where did you put the pressure transducer? Thanks

In the air box. I am useing the stage I kit without the intercooler because I was told I can produce more boost at altitude. I threaded and screwed the sensor in on the left side of the air box.

Moose- you shorten (Tighten) the control rod to increase boost- review the old thread "Bender Turbo in the Mountains" in RS/RX Mtn Talk.
Also, the lines to my switches are Clippard red hose- that stuff can't be kinked or squeezed no matter how hard you try.
