Re: oft relocator
The OFT Relocator moves the handle bars up and forward. The total rise is about 1.75 inches, which, at 6-feet, I don't find very noticeable.
I think the benefit you'll realize when seated is the flatter sweep of the handlebar. The effect of this is you're not pulling a bar end down into your lap when turning. I think it's a compliment to say that you won't notice the effect of the system after 10-miles of riding because the bars are now moving as they should have from the start. Before it felt odd, now it's just right.
Really, the only downside to the Relocator is that I didn't design it.

It's awsome, keeps the bars out of your lap. The bar position is better than when I had my riser facing straight up...I love this mod!

Arteeex just wanted to say thanks for the thumb drive its great. It makes it so much easier to control the throttle and to stay in control of steering.. with the oft relocator instead of pushing and pulling to turn this beast it allows you to just push the bars giving you more leverage and bring it away from your knees. It really makes the steering go from that heavy feeling to in my opinion like steering my 07 phazer. It makes a big difference riding in tight trails.

Does it help the hard stearing?? I knew my stearing was hard but after taking my buddies f7 for a ride last night, I couldn't believe the difference between my yamaha and his.
It was like he had power stearing!!
60 miles of rough trails my arms are jello

Nature of the beast on a rider forward platform..I used to have an F7 and now have an RTX....I now prefer the stiffer steering, tougher on the arms but feels more positive....the OFT relocator helps with the sweep of the bars more than anything ( IMO )...hard steering is a trait of rider forward platform sleds...shimming the skis may help a bit but it will always be there in some form....The OFT relocator is still a must have item!

Shaddow i rode the kids CF7 last weekend and the skis are so far in front of me that i chucked to my self. When through sone really tight trails and had to concentrate on where the skis were going thru the trees...lol What a different.
Night and day eh lol. I switched up with a buddy on one ride...jumped on his 04 F7...thought I was going to die...felt like it was on a stand in the air it was sooo loose...I thought something was waay wrong with his....he got off mine and couldn't believe how hard it was to steer...I was much happier to jump back on the Nytro....plus my knees were sore from being above my ears on the cat lol.

hhhmmmmmm.... I'm not sure about that Shaddow.. A REV (older model) was truely rider forward and it was very easy to steer compared to the Nytro. The Nytro IMO, is just not balanced well and the front Geometry needs some work to rectify the heavy steering. The Motor is heavy, but thats the total reason as to why the Nytro has such heavy steering... It's all in the front end, inconjuction with the gas tank and exhaust as to where they lye in that chassis... I know Yamaha has a new front end coming (if they ever release it) and this came from a rep at the Novi shows and other racers. This will rectify the twichieness/nervousness and would help make the sled more balanced. Probbably a pile of dough as well.....
