So I have been really trying to get an oft Relocator, but can't find one anywhere. Oft racing has been down since December 23 and was going to resume taking orders on January 3 which then turned into the 9th and it's still down, I have emailed them and received nothing back. So I am now looking to see if there is another steering Relocator kit anyone has tried that they like?

I did a DIY relocate that only moves the post half as much as the OFT kit and re-uses the stock bushings. I did this to try out the results before I spent any money.

I would recommend it, but I also recommend the OFT as a better solution in the long run.

I did this last season: http://s589.photobucket.com/albums/ss33 ... 0relocate/

I installed the grizztracks Peice on my sled along with his subframe gussets. Really nice products at an unbeatable price. I would definatley recommend his stuff. Shipping is super fast too.

Of course the better question is, why don't Nytro's come stock with the steering post at that angle. I'm amazed at how much more natural the feel is with the Oft relocator, and would recommend it as one of the first things to be done to a Nytro.

Its very strange business practise for OFT to be closed almost every year in the middle of the season. I love their products (I bought many parts from them) but if I closed my business for any prolonged period of time, Id be on a street.

I can relate to why.
During the build up to Christmas tons of people expect perfect performance within days of an order being placed and deliverd. But most folks don't realise couriers and post offices are already overloaded and will also be taking many days off during the holidays. Then if you leave a website open for business during the holiday, all the good folks who have 2 weeks off from a regular job, have time on their hands and surf the web and buy stuff with their new laptops and phones. Meanwhile a guy like OFT is already out of stock can't ship as couriers are down and is waiting for his suppliers to get more product. And the suppliers are on holiday too.
So what the hell... Why panic and grief over it just shut it down and enjoy your own life.

Ya its understandable to shut down the whole site for maintenance over the Christmas Holidays to stop all these orders from coming in so they are not totally swamped. But it would be nice to receive a reply when you email or try to get a hold of them to find out when they will resume taking orders, or at least update the site, it still says they hopefully resume taking orders on the 9th. Hopefully they are up and running soon, I heard nothing but good things about there product. But it doesn't matter I still don't have enough snow to ride anyway :o| but will be heading up to Sundridge for a couple days to try out the nytro. ;)!

I built my own for the meanwhile, very simple to do but i will still order one from them to get the brass bushings.

i got one from ulmer,
they may have one more left,
i think port had a couple too.
as well as one more i cant remeber who, but they called me back after i ordered one from allen.

the relocator is a MUST HAVE it makes a huge difference in riding the sled . its turns a steering wheel motion into a natural handbar feel

Thanks a lot, I will check into them and see whos closet to me. I guess I will just have to have my first real ride with the stock handlebar set up. I have split rail skis and they seem to work awesome.
