hey i have a 06 gt and my rear shock quit working last year, i had already repaired wires once so this year i had skid out to do bearings so i just ordered new solinoid from shocktec and installed, put back togeather and still cant acess shock icon, checked resistance at plug under cowl going to shock, 5.5 ohms, checked fuse , good, have power to one side of plug, any other ideas?

also just checked other wire in plug under cowel , it goes directly to ecu, checked it for continuity, and is good , so my thinking is ecu decided to take a s---, on the shock function or is not reciving signal from ?? cluster switch?maybe im missing something simple?anyone?

I too have the exact problem and wonder if it is the ecu as well? Can anyone chime in and with any other ideas?

I'd have the shock rebuilt, could be something internally with the shock before you go tearing into the electronics.

was rebuilt and revalved 2 seasons ago but probally due for these shocks from what i read, but thinking u should just be able to plug solinoide in harness not even installed on shock and cluster or ecu should recognize signal, internal shock problem mechanical not electrical

My shock has been newly rebuilt and new solenoid put in recently by Frank at Shocktec. The shock wire is good and have a new battery in sled now and still no icon. Not sure what else to do as I have checked everything else that Habs 1 did.

unplug the shock and without shorting put an automotive test light on the plug coming from the sled...ground clip to black and probe to other. Turn ignition on and the shock icon should show. If it doesn't check the fuse or for an open wire.My shock has been newly rebuilt and new solenoid put in recently by Frank at Shocktec. I understand what u r saying will2cruz,the test light will provide same resistance as good solenoid,so therfor eliminating the harness going to shock and solenoid itself, but I have 5.5 ohms on meter at harness going to shock tested at plug by reverse lever,(new solenoid),it has power 12 volts plus ,that power wire goes directly to fuse so its good!and the other wire goes to ecu and has good continuity so its not broke, unless it routes through something else befor ecu,but from wire colours and looking at sled wiring scmatics im sure I tested it properly, but I will still try this anyway and repost,i also removed ecu checked pins and plugs, cleaned with electrical spray contact cleaner on both ecu and plugs and reinstalled,and-------NUTHIN!!

Hey got a few words on this one fellas my 2010 apex I had the skid out doing some work and I put it back in and ran the wire exactly how they said and it now doesn't work as well maybe just a wire or is that just wishful thinking ?

plug on sled by rev lever , one straight power from fuse other is brown yellow wire goes directly to ecu 100 percent forsure!! and has continuity to ecu plug , just tested,--- again, need to try another ecu is next step!!
