ohlins-ec shock removal?

Do a search for mono shoch removal. the topic has several threads already. Not very hard to do. I did mine few weeks ago and just followed everyones suggestions.

Hang rear end in the air to remove the pressure. Undo the two bolts, with nuts, undo the electric clip at the shock. Done! 1/2 a beer job, unless you really go slow?

The suspension has to be neutral (not sagging OR being compressed) to get the 2 bolts out. Jack (or lift and place on a stand/sawhorse or whatever) up the rear for the sled from the back bumper. Then slide a jack under the track and suspension and jack it up until the suspension is neutral and the two 14mm bolts will slide right out. Don't forget to snip all the zip ties securing the wire and unplug the wire right at the top of the shock.

Sounds ez. I need to remove mine. And either solder/splice
The wires back together between the solenoid and the connector or send it off to have a new solenoid put on it? Any suggestions about that?
