Was at my dealer yesterday to pick up my sled, had them check
the shock service manager said it was starting to go (1900 miles)
he called yama tech, they told him to replace with the 07 shock,
also tech told him that all of the 06 sleds will all get the 07 shocks
so call your dealer ---covered under warranty!! also got the 07
bars will test out today !!

Yamaha is sending me a rebuilt shock for my GT. Should be here next week for my dealer to install. I think my warranty was up in Sept and i have 2500 mi on it. I am sure it was going last year already as it was not acting quite wright but it had sliped my mind. Good thing it is not a Cat or Doo or i would be screwed. Thank's Yamaha!! kviper

Thats good to hear.. Yamaha was not sure if they would warranty mine or not as of last week. I have 1800miles and the rebound adjuster is not working.

Had mine replaced this fall with 1700 miles. Rebound adjuster had only 4 clicks and then free wheeled. Dealer replaced it with a new shock and re-located the wiring according to a bulletin.

I am trying to decide between the attak or the attak gt, you guys that have the gt do u think its worth the extra $ ,or do you wish you had bought the standard ,i have new floats for the front,so its just the rear i have concerns about.my dealer said they have had zero problems with the ohlins but i would like some feed back from you guys. thanks
The 07's Ohlins electric shock is different from the 06. The compression is far better this year but the rebound is the same as last. Rebound wasn't relly a problem though and doesn't need to be changed.
