Hey guys I just put a ohlins electric mono skid into my rx1 and I am going to change the spring to a 6.5kg I was wondering if someone can post a link for me on how I need to set it up for this spring I have tried to search buy could not find anything thanks

I still don't know how to set the preloaded and seat length for the 6.5kg spring

Spring rating doesn't matter. Measure the length of the spring with the back of the sled lifted. Then lower the sled and measure the spring with you and FULL gear sitting on sled(you will need a friend). When preload is set properly the difference should be 40-45 mm

ok so what is the point of that chart in the first link then the spring set length is the mesurment of the spring with no weight on it right? and then what is the mm of preload mean?

Ohlin shock has no clip or cam settings.

There is a chart for the ohlins it just a starting point and to see if the stock spring will work for you weight. Just make sure you do not max the spring out or you well get spring bind most people will put 6.5 in short track or use the 7.1 if you are on the heavy side also what works well if you get the shock revalved. I have a long track and put in the 7.1 and revalved the shock and works great.
