Thinking about a ohlins rear piggy-back shock for my warrior as a replacement for the clicker kayaba but i need a few questions answered first.Does the piggy-back shock rub against the track when the suspension is compressed?,and is the shock a big advantage over the stock kayaba?

I have one in my stretched Viper and it doesn't rub. Is it woth it? Depends what you pay. My issue wasn't just ride improvement. It is also a more robust shock than a Kayaba. I have around 5,000 miles on mine and haven't blown it up yet LOL! Can't say the same for the 5 Kayaba's from 2 different sleds that I have destroyed that are sitting in my garage. I'd say go for it ;)!

Got the price shock today, over $800 CDN!Going to stick to stock for now(just got the center shock rebuilt anyway).

that sounds about right. i paid $1300.00 +tax for the ones i put on my sled last season. they where worth the money though as i was not as stiff on the rough days out on the trail. putting the fronts with a 13mm swaybar this season.

I put an
Ohlin in my Warrior last year and all I can say is WOW! Totally different machine. The factory stuff was ok but the Ohlin rear shock made my machine a bump blaster. The ride was very firm, maybe a little too firm but, I could pound the bumps all day without the shock fading. Gives you total confidence going through the rough stuff. Best mod I have made to my sled. I would highly recommend it. By the way, I had my center shock reworked and had twisted springs installed on it. Just my two cents!
