Ohlins shock on eBay

Is an Ohlins in the read with a stocker in the middle useful or useless?

This is a rear skid shock which does not use a coil spring around it as the proactive skid has torsion springs. In my opinion the aluminum rebuildable front skid shock and the steel non-rebuildable rear skid shock is a blatant miss match from the factory as the steel shock dampening capability is poor especially on rebound. Many owners are perfectly happy with the factory setup but adding the Ohlins to the rear skid position only was a big improvement on my sled for the way I ride it. Others have gone further and revalved the front shock as well with good results. The good part about the front skid shock is that it can be revalved to suit your liking where the rear shock is a sealed throw away unit. I always favor doing one change at a time and evaluating the results so I know what works well and what doesn't.

I just wanted to post that eBay link as so far it's a very low price if anyone here could benefit.
