2004 RX-! Warrior
1984 Phazer (Antique)
Wanted to check the oil in my new Vector but was surprised to find it wouldn't come out of the oil tank after unscrewing and lifting straight toward the opening. Finally was able to coax it out after twisting and pulling pretty firmly on the metal guides for the sending unit. It feels like the sending unit at the base is swollen/not spec diameter?
This is a new 2012 unit with '0'miles. The unit on my Warrior has far more clearance as it passes the oil tank threads. I haven't checked the units with a micrometer to see if there is a difference. Is this just a bad unit or has anyone seen this before? Didn't see anything in my search.

Lots of fiddling around
VT... I found my '12 Vector dip stick very finicky . Lots of touch and go and out it came. Angle as well as position. I'm guessing your's in normal. This is my first 4 stroke sled. Nothing to compare it with.

I had a similar issue with my wife's 11 vector at 0 miles. I purchased a new oil stick assembly and now it works as it should.
