Anyone know if the oil filter is easier to get to on the 06 models?
I see the side panels will have a quick release system. This is good, much nicer then all the Phillip screws having to be dealt with to get to the oil tank
The photos on yamaha's website show a very different battery bracket: maybe one that flips out of the way? Maybe a new access panel under the engine?
Am I understanding correctly the airbox is in the hood now so that is not an issue anymore? I always hated getting the airbox boots lined up on the carburetor bodies and tightening the little Phillip screws.
