Oil & Filter change 03 RX1

Hello all,

I am new to the four stroke's. Just bought an 03 RX1 with 77 miles on it, I have ordered an owners manual but would like to change the oil and filter this weekend. It has been in storage for two years.

Any info on how to access the filter and drain the oil tank would be helpful.

Before removing the oil filter save yourself a headache and clean up by,cutting a piece of bristol board to fit underneath the oil filter and long enough to exit out the bottom into the whatever you're using to catch the oil.That way when you spin the oil filter off the oil slides down the bristol board and into the container instead of the bottom of the engine bay. ;)!
