I am not sure, I just pulled the # from the diagrams.
If the difference the the lengh I would bring it back and get the right one. I remember reading about wrong filters getting cut when they are too long in the Nytro.

Not sure on the filter, might want to give them a call in the am ans double check. Much better to check then put it in and find out it is the wrong one.

All Yamaha 4 strokes beside Phazer run the 8DN- belt.
All 4 cyls run 5GH filter
All 2 and 3 cyls run 5DM filter
5GH and 5DM filters DO NOT interchange.

5DM filter for nytro is definitely shorter. They are about 2" in length. I have not seen another manufacturer with one this short. Like said before, if it is too long it could rub against the metal rails of the underbody cover or skid plate. If your paying the money for the Yamaha filter should just take back and get the right one....
