I did a search and read all the posts on the Apex oil filter and better yet where it is. Have a couple of questions. Did the filter relocation kit ever come out? I read three pages on it then the thread died last October. Also I've seen a couple of different part numbers for the filter itself but most were listed for older models. Can someone give me the correct number for a 2011? Purolator or Wix is fine. (FYI: Just read on Purolator's web site never to use the Pure One line of filters on a motorcycle or ATV as the media is too thick and may starve the motor of oil or burn out the pump. Didn't mention sleds, but interesting just the same.) Anyways, thanks for any help in advance.

The oil filter can be found on the front of the motor, under the battery, which is under the air box. And to remove the airbox the headlights need to come off, and to remove the headlights you need to remove the panel where the key switch is.

Yep, got that part. Now I'm after a filter part number and whether or not the relocation kit ever became available?

Call Allen Ulmer. He's the one that makes the kit.
