SINCE THE OIL FILTER IS SO HARD TO CHANGE, DOES ANYBODT KNOW IF THERE IS A FILTER RELOCATION KIT AVAILABLE FOR THE APEX SLEDS.

after the first change it is not recommended for at least 8000 miles. most vehicles today have intervals of somewhere between 8000-16000 miles. things have changed since 1962. better materials, better mfg, better oils. the r1 road bike has the same intervals and you have a fiber clutch, transmission that leave a lot of debris behind. point is it don't need to be changed as often. buy a extended warranty and if you have a failure do to a faulty filter then yamaha has to pay.
