I've got an oil leak that I cant find. It seems to be coming from the oil cooler area. I felt around the adapter the oil filter screws on and it did have some oil on it but more so around the cooler. Any ideas?

Do a leakdown check on the engine. I've seen cases on the turbo engine if it runs lean it will toast the rings, distort the bore, and break the ring lands. People seem to be getting greedy with the boost without enough octane, and or, lean fuel curve. It can happen quicker than you imagine. The oil will be coming from the crankcase vent if this is the case. Run a longer hose out the hood and take for a blast, if it pukes out oil the engine is toast. Or test with a leakdown guage. 4-5% is normal, anything in the 15-20% range and its toast. Not good news but hope it helps. Mike Knapp#17
