This one is just an incase type situation.
If you end up rolling your sled over and it dumps the oil out the breather tube, dont have any 4 stroke oil with you, can you use 2 stroke oil in the crankcase to get you home?
Will this cause any problems? Damage to sled?
reason I ask is last time to the Mtns I came across an older gentleman that had rolled his sled in the hills and it stayed running upside down for 45-60secs puked most of the oil out into the airbox and belly pan. It was a 1.5 hr ride just to the truck for more of his oil. Could we have just used 2 stroke??

my brother has done this in a pickup. ran low on oil and they where 2 hrs from anywhere. truck had a phantom oil leak. it would be fine for 2 months then spray oil all over the drivers inner fender. had buddys sled in the back and a case of 2 stroke oil. threw 3 quarts in (when it leaked it leaked bad) and drove it home. once home changed the oil. motor is still running in another truck in town as he rolled it on a gravel road.
any oil is better than no oil when you are stuck. just change it out when you get home is all.
