something from 2019!
I installed my a-arm oilite bushings today and was wondering if the sleeve for the top a-arm bolt was a really tight fit for you guys that put them in... Im not to sure if I had something holding it up, did something wrong or if it is completly normal for them to be so tight? I know they are built to tighter tolorances but I didnt think it was going to be that tight. any insite would be a world of help. thanks

mine were kinda tight after putting in the new bushings, however i just cleaned up the sleeve with some red scotch bright and that did the trick. Great fit!!

they are snug....but make sure bolts are not bent, and no corrosion. Some guys have said their sled would compress, and not rebound for the first few pushes, then Ok after a few bounces. Just much tighter tolerences than OEM.

mine were tight too, but worked the a arm a bit when putting it back on and she freed up. probly just a bit of corrosion sticking on the shaft and tighter tolerances....

Yeah thats normal, just clean up the shaft with emory paper or whatever and it should be good to go, nice and tight!!!!!! ;)!

Mine were snug but not super tight. I used the wire wheel on my bench grinder to just clean the shaft up.

thanks guys, mine were too tight for my liking, so I took the shaft back out and cleaned it up a bit more and it went back in a little bit smoother. now my a-arms are nice and tight and move freely. last night they were not moving as well as they do now. thanks for the responses

Ah well... I'm sure it's still gonna help! Thanks!

Oh yeah its amazing how much it tightens up the front end. Last year i just put in the uppers and it was a huge improvment.
