Old Forge 2011 Sneak Peak

big question did you guys find the Vector hard to turn? the one I rode last week felt like the front end weighed a 1000 pounds it steered harder than my 05 and I was dissapointed in that. other wise thought it was great.

New etec skidoos where impressive as well i didn't try their 1200. Personally I thought the much better than early Rev's.

when were you there maxout01?

Tinebomb I got there 10:00am on the dot to the skidoo tent. I was in line there until like 11:30. Rode them till 12:30 and then went to yamaha booth around 1:00 cause the freestyle guys were practicing as I was standing there. I was at the yamaha demos till 2:30 as we went for much longer trail rides then the doo camp. It was a blast and I'm so glad I went over there, lol!

As for the vector steering question, it felt very nimble, almost as good as the new apex but more feedback in the bars.
In reality the vector I rode was exactly my 06 apex with a smaller motor so I'm used to the chassis.

i got there around 9:30 and left just before 11. didn't feel like staying there all day. friend i was there with wanted to see the new rush 800 b/c he wants to snow check one. i just went along for the ride.

I must have crossed paths with ya somewhere. I went specifically to demo ride so I knew what I was in for. The lines really weren't long though because they closed the demos to any extra people around 10:30 due to no snow.

The trails were totally done. But the yami demo guide let us ride and ride it was great!

that kid was infront of me when i went over to the yamaha demo at 11. 1st thing i noticed was his helmet with the cam on it. he certainly had no intentions of buying a 2011.
