So after reading all the threads on mirrors, I found these blind spot mirrors at Fleet Farm for less than $3 per pair. And unlike most blind spot mirrors, these are fully adjustable. So a couple aluminum brackets, a little black paint and some 3M mounting tape (the good stuff with the red backing, not the cheap stuff they sell at Walmart with the green and white backing) and this is what I've got. Haven't had a chance to trail test them yet, but they work good driving around my yard.

Looks good and seems to be more solid then on hand gaurds. When you sit on the sled does it block a lot of your view though??

Mirrors
I did something similar with larger mirrors and mounted them to the cowling. The only negative that I have found is that the rider behind always sees his headlight in your mirrors because of the convex shape and it can be a little distracting (or so I'm told). You also don't get a very clear image but all I'm looking for is a headlight to know that they are still behind me and they are good for that. I bought a set of the aftermarket knee level mirrors that mount to the side of the cowling but they cover up the RX1 graphics so I never tried them.

The last pic is from the driver's seat. You can see where the bar is and the side of my body (wearing coveralls, not my cool Yammie duds!) The rest is clear view back. I had the oem motorcycle style (which may be for sale soon if my buddy doesn't want them) but I wanted something that didn't stick out anywhere and spoil the lines of the sled. So I didn't want them on the ends of the bars either. Also, I don't have or want handguards so that wasn't an option. I considered the small Arctic Crap ones, but they're rectangular so I didn't think they fit inside the contour of the windshield as well (plus, these were alot cheaper.)
