Hey guys. New here. Thanks to a fellow member I found a great deal on an 11 Apex at 10.6. So, being it's my first Yami.... sled that is. We have an 08 Grizz, I was wondering if there are any dealers who sell parts and accessories online? Will probably add the taller windshield and some mirrors. Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry, just updated my profile. I am in the western end of MA. Generally ride ME, NH, and VT.

Also, if anyone has a part number on the correct mirrors for the 11 Apex I would appreciate it!!!

I figured those must be them. On Yamaha's accessory web site, they are listed up to 08 on the Apex, but they must not have updated it in quite a while. Will order after I pick up my new machine on Tuesday.

They have two sets, both about 100 bucks, one set mounts on the side panels, the other mounts on the handlebars,i chose the lower mounted type on the panels, just for looks, the handlebar mounts are alot more user friendly, but look like they belong on a 4- wheeler.

I was wondering about that. My Doo has them up high mounted to the sides of the windshield. Very easy to see without looking down too much. I may sacrifice form for function on this one and go with the bar mounts.

Yes on the GSX SE the mirror are mounted much higher then the part number I gave you. Check the yamaha catalog when you pick the sled up. The difference is nobody will be passing you on the Apex like they do on the GSX SE...lol You never have to look back!

I can't wait to find out! Ride with my brother who is also on a GSX 1200 and a buddy with a 09 MXZ 800R. Wife and I will swap out our GSX and the new Apex. Hopefully I can put the 800R to rest while on the Apex. The 1200 has tons of mid and will pull the 800 to a point when all of a sudden it gets to it's sweet spot and goes by by. Now to figure out the whole studding fiasco. Lots of reading so far, and still no clear easy answer....

The 09 800R is done if you just stud it good.

I really should add this to my sig and send it to my buddy. Can't wait for the real thing... ;)!

Just keep a low profile and tell him you dont want to race because your afraid of getting beat. Then spank him in front of a bunch of freinds...lol
