Wondering if anyone with an Apex has worked to add Wind Deflectors? I bought the lower part of the high windshield thinking I could add them to my Medium height Windshield. After spending over $100 I found that they just won't mate up and am back to square one. I see they have some for the other models but not the Apex. I am hoping to get some wind off the Knees while riding in very cold temps…. I really don’t want to go to a high Windshield. It kind of takes away from the looks of the Sled. Had the same issue with the Viper, added the Mirrors and resolved the issue
Also, someone had posted a link directly to the Yamaha’s web site showing all accessories for Snowmobile models. Presently I only see links under each model. Can someone please provide again? Maybe they already make them………..
Thanks in advance,
-Moose

I believe the wind deflectors off the Ski-doo Rev side panels are supposed to work great .I would have tried them on my Apex but me and the local BRP owner and I have parted company!!!

Hi, I made lower wind deflectors out of 2mm lexan.
They helped with keeping the lower part of my body warmer, had them on last season.
I can take a photo later if you like?
Best regards

Here are the photos:
I cold bended the lexan in a simple sheet metal bender.
It got half an inch of play to the hood, so it can be removed.
I put som "rockguard" protection vinyl on the side panels and windshield, but there is no sign of wear.
I scotchbrite the backside and painted them black with RC body paint.
