I have had a few of the studs come out of my track you dont get any problems with it it is the outter most lugs and I guess you prolly have to be pretty hard on it in the corners but I didnt buy it to last 10000 miles if i get 5000 out of a track it is a good track right now I have 4700 on my prestudded track and it is in good shape. I will run it this year and I am putting allot more power to it this year too. adding a super charger to it.

the Ice-Ripper doesn't have ''studs'' through track. It has little sharp studs stuck on end of track lugs so if they come out, which is rare, they don't tear track. 240 i believe in mine. they aren't as good as studs, but they do alot better than nothing. i'm more concerned about stopping in those icy situations. I sacrifice a little traction compared to studs, but no stud pullout tears, worries of ''flapping'' & hitting exchangers & ALOT longer track life. Every track i've changed started with a stud pullout that got worse.
