Hey guys im putting an OSP muffler on my 2014 viper. Just wondering if I have to get it reflashed at the dealer after wards? I have heard that once switched there’s a code that comes up saying the sled is over heating and won’t start but once it’s reflashed it’s good. But then I called my local dealer to ask them about it and they said I shouldn’t have to do that. Just wondering if anyone has had to do that? Or if there’s a certain way I need to disconnect the o2 sensor so it doesn’t do that?

I would ask the dealer if your sled has had the latest computer flash. If not, I'd get it done. After the latest flash is done, you don't need the O2 sensor any more in the exhaust as it has been programmed out of the operation system. My 2020 Viper doesn't have an O2 sensor in it at all.

You might want to try it before you get a reflash(cause it will need one)I bought one of those when I first got my Viper, it was only on there about a half hour and I took it off. Most loud and annoying thing I ever herd. I'm not sure where you will be riding but if it is on the trail you will get a ticket, not to mention how many people you will make very angry. If for some reason you decide to keep it on you will need a refresh or at least a power commander with a tune. It leans out the top end a lot.
