Hit Tug Hill yesterday. It truly was the last day I think for riding. Never saw a trail go to crap before like some of the ones did yesterday. Was a good ride though. And we spent a lot of time out on the resovoir. Something I haven't really gotten to do all season.
Some guys had a radar out there. Conditions were mealy (cause of the warmth) and there were some spots with nasty whoops. You could run em hard just not all that long before you got to the whoops. The radar may have been reading low (most likely) since the fastest run was 102 on an Attak. Was hopin a mach would come out but didn't see one.
I beat everything out there, outside of a few false starts and outside of Aarron Excell's Attak. There were 2 sleds that would pull me by a length at first and then I'd be passing at about 70ish.
Ran a Fusion 900, he jumped before the start the first time so I started a sled back but I caught up and inched ahead before the end. The two other times I had him from start to finish. ZR 900 I beat. Every F-7 that showed up I beat there were probably 3 or so. and there were a couple Rev 800's as well beat them fairly easy. Don't think anyone had a new Ptek though. They were all 03's - 05's. One sled that really suprised me was a Rev 600 that my buddy has. I killed him at first and then he made some clutch adjustments. Then I wasn't all that far ahead of him. In fact he was right with me up to 90's on a few runs. Impressive for a 600. Especially since he was either tying or beating a few F-7's out there. He's got a lot of work into it but still impressive.
I forgot there was a Nytro out there as well. We all lined up I was in front and all of a sudden this thing goes screamin by like we were standing still. He turns around and waves. So I followed him to the end of the resovoir and told him to pop the hood. He tried to play dumb at first but I got him to pop it and sure enough a turbo. Said he was runnin in the 220 range. The boost dial on the handlebars was a dead giveaway as well heh.
All in all was a fun day, including one of the F7 guys that I had just beat coming over and saying "I hear if you put a cat suspension in one of those things they really ride great." The guy I was riding with got a little chuckle out of that cause as he says Yamaha is the closest thing to the rev for the bumps. Those F7 guys never change

Good story!
Even though that Nytro did beat you, you still win, hehe, get it!
I had one of those days too, me and my buds on the yams were against all these other guys on different makes, I took everyone off the line and down the lake wuite a bit, no matter what it was and then my buds on the 700's finished up, haha!

Hmm, used Nytro plus turbo? Not a bad idea. Good post.

Must of passed you somewhere during my 128 miles.
I was alone on my GT and had my orange and black Reima coat on.
The res was great last week.
Came onto the res as a Cat and Doo were taking off to race.
So I thought I`ll catch them as its now "go time".I start to catch up and realize Im in the flatter lane and they are in the bumps. So as they slowed down, the Cat rider turns right into my path just begging to be T-boned.
I had already slowed as I saw them slowing down,so as this guy turns into my path I have both arms in the air giving the look and gesture of "W.T.
you idiot you were just about T-boned you dumb a$$ because you didn`t look back".
This guy had the deer in the headlights look.
The trails were bad and getting worse.
There were yard sale parts allover the trail, the sleds were just pounding through the bumps.I saw plastic parts(rubbins racin),susp wheels, yellow wheels,trim/molding pieces.
I also picked up a newer Doo snow flap on the way back to the truck.
Doo flap excellent/very good cond now for sale $10.
Saw on the trails many sports drink bottles that were apparently launched
from their storage areas.
One spot looked like a smurf was hit trying to cross the trail.
Blue snow allover!!!!!

I was hopeing for a better outlook for the weekend, but it looks bad. I am still going up to Barnes Corners. The guy on the Nytro was his name Marshall? If it was he has a supercharger on that thing. He has a camp about 1/2 mile from me . Nice guy, rode in Canada with him.
I guess we can fool around on some of the back roads a little. If not look forward to next week because i heard it's going to get cold and snow mid week. Thank God for St Partick's day!!!!!!!!

Were the revs yellow and blue and red and black? They said they were cleaning up at the hill in the first 2000' .
