It only truns on when hitting a set temp.
i think it might be the switch or thermostat or even the raditor cap
i jucie it and it hets up or blows that line off

You may have air in the system. Try raising the rear of the sled and then get sled warm and undo the bleed screw in the crossover tube in the rear and get any air out that may be in there.

Bleed the system like Hammer said. When i did it to my phazer I took a peice of clear tubing. Like a fish tank air hose and poped it on the bleed valve and put the other end back in the coolant tank. This way i could see the air passing through and dident loose the coolant all over the place.

I might suggest getting a rear cooler if you don't have one or ice scratchers until you do. I've seen as well as you lot's of sleds over heating. These Apex's are known for overheating on firm trails, low snow.
If your studded you might want extra tunnel protectors.

Is your sled running 50-50 coolant mix? A lot of the Yamies came through with 100% anti freeze and this caused a lot of overheating. Make sure it's 50-50. Put a rear heat exchanger on. Bleed system. Add Water Wetter to your anti freeze mix also. Just wondering about the line blowing off. Check the cap, or just replace it, it's cheap. Hopefully, it's not a head gasket making pressure build up. You don't notice any white smoke do you? And yes you can have a head gasket blown without seeing water in the oil. Very, very unlikely that is what it is, though.
i will try that stuff today i dont notice any white smoke or nothing. i will be for sure doin this stuff you guys are tellin me thanks for the help guys keep it comin of ya think of anything!
