Using 1.63" studs with 1.5" chisel would give you approximately 3/16" height difference.
I'm one of those guys that definitely avoids harsh conditions. Concrete & blacktop are very hard to avoid, crossing streets, parking lots, fuel, etc.
Do chisels accelerate wear on clutch components & belt life?
Anyone try these yet? Or similar product.

Aluminum anything won't hold up on normal/usual trail. They're made for drag racing/speed running on good snow. Not very good on ice/super hard-packed conditions either.

Yeah, I kinda thought so. Better to ask the pros. I honestly like the concept. Sure would help if they were made from a more durable product. But then, there goes the cost of goods. $6ea turns into $30ea. Thanks, turboflash
 
So in getting back with the p1s....haha. it seems there are two versions, that I would consider. 1.25" & 1.5"
1.25" would allow Appx. 5/8" of stud penetration before the chisel made contact.
1.5" version would be Appx. 3/16"
Both using a 1.63" stud.
Note: please do not comment in regards to plastic backers you see in pic. I know.

The P1s have a very unique & special ability. They can be installed and removed without taking the stud out. Which is an extra step and more than 2x the work.
You can quite frankly trail ride to an event and have them in your tunnel bag along with a driver of course.
30min to install 96pc?
 
What? They would work great if you could carry your sled across the pavement to fuel it up! Comm'on guys toughen up! Lol At $6 a stud that's only $1200 to stud the track! You only have to re-stud every other weekend!
